Default Accessorizing this formal dress

Hi all, I bought a black formal gown for a wedding that I have to attend. It's long chiffon. http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/lauren-r...esults-_-2_2_D

I actually think it looks better on me than it does on this model hehe. But I need help accessorizing so it's not so black and blah. I have some ideas of my own but could use a little inspiration, help?

WELLLLLL I do love accessories Everyone's tastes are different of course but I'd go with (you'll need to look them up on the nordstrom site, I can't post links yet):

'Elements - Cordova' Multistrand Statement Necklace
'Grotto' Stone Pendant Necklace

Or do a larger earring like 'Vintage LuciteŽ' Hoop Earrings and use a simply necklace.

I'm not saying those exact things but something like that I tend to go towards classic looks with a modern feel.

What is your style? I am a retro girl so tend to gravitate toward a designer like Betsey Johnson or more classical pieces but your style may be different. The dress is black, and you are going to a wedding so I would suggest huge pops of color or white for your shoes and clutch and jewelry. Depending on what you have.

My style is somewhat bohemian and fashion forward and though I'm not used to wearing jewelry that is huge I also don't go for "classic" dainty stuff. I like to make a statement. I'm thinking color! I've got gold scrappy sandals that might work but I was hoping to find sandals with multiple colorful jewels. Haven't found any yet.

Pretty dress!

I might do a longer necklace with a big pendant and bright colors. Maybe something like this?

I also need help with a dress so I'm going to post my photo on another thread. I love your dress, btw!

I'd go either short chunky necklace or a very long pendant.

A bunch of bangles?

Short chunky necklace for sure. Long pendants are beautiful, wish I could wear them but my bust is pretty large and I don't like the way they hang over my chest.

Bangles, yes!!!
