I'm going to go for less intense due to all the stressors. I think I can hit 210 by August 4th. That's only 7.2 lbs. If I hit that on target I will be all set for 205 by labor day.
So my goals:
L ose 1.5lbs a week.
O pen up my mind and meditate 5 minutes a day to goal of 15 minutes
S trength train 30 minutes 3 days a week. MWF.
E xercise 60 min/day/ Eat 1800calories or less 6 days/week 1 cheat day.

Yea, a new challenge which I'm in at the beginning!!

Hmmm...have to think of a challenging yet attainable goal in just under 7 weeks.

I like the push up idea. Currently, I can do 5 pushups (mostly...the last 1 or 2 are questionable ). By August 4th I'd like to be able to do 10 good ones.

And I need a weight goal. I'm at 185 this morning (). I'm shooting for 179 (out of the 180's). Doesn't seem like much, but at the rate I've been losing ~2 lbs per month, this is a stretch.

I seem to do well with " red line" goals. So my goal is simple: weight below 148.

I cherish my friends here and feel sad when people disappear

I am in! I have a lot of family gatherings over the summer, so there will be lots of big meals in my future. I'm going to set my goal small, and hope to do better than I expect, like in the last challenge. Also, as my weight goes down, I know each pound is going to be harder to get off. I'm going to set my goal weight for this challenge to 145. That's only a 3 pound loss, but with all the company I'm going to have over the next couple months, I will be lucky just to maintain!

I also pledge to stick with my other goals of at least 30 min of exercise per day, and keep my calories under 1300. Also, 30 min of strength training 3 days per week.

Ok, here are my goals:

Weight: Lose between 5-7 pounds, so I go from 167.2 to between 160.2 and 162.2 (would be thrilled to be in 150s by challenge end!)
Exercise: Walk 3.5-4 miles 5x a week, and complete a 30 day squat and plank challenge.
Diet: Eat as cleanly as possible, limited processed sugar and carbs to a weekly treat at most.

We can do this!!

As crazy as it may seem, this is going to be my exercise challenge. It's only 30 days, so I think I can do it!!

Okay...here I go.......

Short term goal 140 lbs by fourth july
Long term 135 by Friendship Day

My plan:

walking for as many nights as possible in the week
ZUMBA I will now be teaching five mornings a week
weightlifting three times a week ( I got a 30 day pass for the 24 hour gym)

The real challenge is FOOD

Low carb lifestyle ....Belly Fat Cure to jumpstart with. No bread , rice, flour of any kind for the first week or so. then will add berries, oatmeal, whole grains.....

Get some kind of help for my emotional eating.

My goal is still to get to the 140's. I will take 149.9. I will place this goal a Bastille day, as August seems really far away. Maybe I can get to 145 by August 4th.

I also want to post daily calorie counts. Just cant get away from The First Law of Thermodynamics.

Thanks for the new challenge!
Love the friends on here, I'm like Newleaf, sad when someone disappears.
I've disappeared a time or two, but always came back, I always do better when I'm here!

My goal will be 159.9, it's about 7 weeks, right, so that's about 6 lbs, doable.
Oops 5 pounds, even more doable, hopefully!!

Nothing fancy stick to my plan through festival season!
And start doing push ups!!

Best to all
