Default Do I not eat enough protein or go over calories

Today was a workout day on nrolfw. I went pretty hard today too. I'm having a dilemma. I hate a few too many calories today. And either I eat enough protein (not entirely enough. Can't eat over 120gs) an go over calories, or stay in my calorie range and not get enough protein.

Is one day of weight training with not enough protein gunna be detrimental? What should I do?

Are you hungry? If so, I'd eat the protein, if not then don't eat it.

Love NROL!

If you are hungry, eat some lean protein!

3-4 ounces of lean protein is not a bad thing!

Sometimes if I don't eat all the calories I'm supposed to in one day, it sets me up for a bad day tomorrow. And then I have an excuse like "oh I didn't eat all my calories yesterday so it's a free for all today!" It's just not a good scenario. I try to eat up my calories.

I don't think one day of anything is the end of the world, but I always make sure to get in my protein shake after every workout. It's only 90 calories for 20g of protein which doesn't ruin my whole day and I think it's important.
