Default 100 Days of Exercise Challenge

Earlier this week alizarin posted that she met her goal of exercising for 100 days in a row! I was so thoroughly impressed with her accomplishment (mostly because I can't seem to string together more than 3-days in a row of exercise) that I wanted to challenge myself.

Maybe some of us will meet our 100-days of exercise on September 8 (100 days from today), and maybe it will take some of us until next June 1 to reach 100 days of exercise... The point is to support each other as we challenge ourselves to exercise!

Let me include myself in the challenge with a small story. Yesterday I went and got fitted for a Bridesmaids dress for a wedding I am in this September. I had originally wanted to fit into a size 16, but ended up fitting into a 18w. Slight bummer, but down from a 24w. On my way home I was thinking "tomorrow is June 1st, stop making excuses and move your A$$." So. I am. Plus, I am participating in the July 4th challenge and you, SuperHeroTeacher have been kicking mayja butt's... Super Hero is right.

Long Story Short. I'm in.
Day 1: 2.3 mile jog. Best mile time evah! 9:50, who am I?!?!
Day 2: 3.1 mile jog. It was a beautiful morning.
Day 3: 2.5 mile walk. Once during my lunch hour and another after work.
Day 4: 1.8 mile jog. 5 sets of quick 18 stairs.
Day 5: Jillian Michaels Kickbox DVD, 20mins. Yoga 10 mins.
Day 6: cleaned the h*ll out of my house. Sweat and all. I'm counting it.
Day 7: Continued cleaning.
Day 8: 1.5 mile walk on my lunch
Day 9: 2.75 mile jog, 15 mins intense yoga.
Day 10: I was too tired. So. Tired. I have beat myself up about it!
Day 11: Ran 2.5 miles, 50 jumping jacks, 3 sets of stairs.
Day 12: Eliptical 2.4 miles, Weights. (This was an awesome session)
Day 13 Elliptical, 30 mins. Weights
Day 14
Day 15: 30 minute walk up and down hills
Day 16: elliptical and serious weights. I'm tired!
Day 17
Day 18

Good luck with this; it's an awesome thing to track! I hit 100 days of exercise since 1/1 last week! I've already got my own personal challenge of 250 days going on so I'm not going to join here, but wanted to wish you well.

You are so sweet smashlers I'm glad you've joined the challenge. I do awesome in all the weight loss challenges (thank you Medifast), but I aways seem to fall off the wagon on the monthly exercise challenges. Something about alizarin's accomplishment really struck a chord with me, and made me want to Just Do It!.

I hope you're feeling better zoesmom! Getting sick (and how it would impact my weight loss) is one of my many anxieties!

Welcome Lecomtes!

Well I'm 3-for-3 so far! I didn't get home until 8:30 tonight, but I still made myself exercise! That so would not have happened before this challenge!

I'm in! I'm also new here and have been looking for some motivating shared experience type things (long way of saying "challenge").

This one is especially good for me since one of my stumbling blocks is blowing off exercising when my schedule gets busy and when I'm traveling. But I'm going to count it as a win if this motivates me to get in even 10 minutes of concentrated exercise on those days.

I have to back track here a bit since I'm four days late (I hope that's all right), but I actually got a lot of exercise working in the yard and garden this weekend, hoeing, raking, moving firewood, etc.

Day 1 - June 1: 30 minutes of heavy gardening
Day 2 - June 2: 1 hour of heavy gardening
Day 3 - June 4: 25 min walk
Day 4 - June 5: *Two* 20 min walks
Day 5 - June 7: 20 min of yoga
Day 6 - June 8: 15 min walk
Day 7 - June 9: 30 min gardening
Day 8 - June 10: 20 min of yoga
Day 9 - June 11: 30 minutes gardening, and I've also added to my goal doing a set of chair exercises at work at least once a day
Day 10 - June 12: 15 minutes yoga, one set of chair exercises
Day 12
Day 13
Day 14
Day 15
Day 16
Day 17
Day 18
Day 19
Day 20
Day 21
Day 22
Day 23
Day 24
Day 25
