Default Menu help needed

I am normally pretty good at this but some of you are pros.

I am going here tomorrow and would like some advice on what to eat which is shown on the menu.

Yes, I will be hitting the salad bar and skipping dessert. But what about the meat?

Thanks for watching my back.

I'm going to drool over that menu and see if I can find you something healthy.

And we are not only watching your back, we have your back.

I'd go with the filet mignon or chicken (legs). Yum!

I would avoid the ribs (too fatty), chicken (neither breading nor bacon will serve you, and I personally don't like dark meat chicken), and sausage (who knows what's in it, it's not like you can read the label).

If it were me I'd go with the filet mignon. If that's a little too far out of the price range, then I'd do top sirloin.

I've never had Brazilian food, it looks lovely!

ETA: LOL Elvis! Love the pic

There are 15 (!!) meat choices to choose from, omg. Can you ask for a bite of every single one and only eat just one bite?? Everything looks so good.

You might have to do an extra mile or so at the gym to try and offset a few calories. This is a once in blue moon experience for you so try not to withhold too much so you can enjoy yourself. You have worked so hard, you deserve a nice time out. And I only say that knowing how committed you are to yourself and your diet. I wouldn't just say that to anyone (knowing they might not get back on plan). Looks like a very nice place too!

You could get the chicken and ask them to leave off the bacon.

Filet with steamed veggies from the salad bar, and maybe a splurge for dessert?

Isn't this the place where they keep bring you food as long as you will keep eating ?
I would pick the Beef Ancho ( ribeye)
or Filet Mignon (without the bacon)

I'd go with the pork or lamb. But this is one of those dining experiences where you need to allow yourself to just enjoy the meal. Yes, skip the bread and dessert, and asked for veggies instead of a starch, but enjoy the meat! Like several have suggested, you can skip the ribs or ask for the bacon to be left off, but truthfully, this looks like it's a fine dining experience and I'd just go to the gym for an extra hour rather than give up all the taste.

Personally, I have a hard time staying on plan at any kind of buffet, or a house party with snacks laid out for grazing.

I would decide ahead of time how many meats I'd get, and narrow down my choices, too. I'd avoid the ribeye and bottom sirloin because of the fat, and probably the sausage, too. I'd flip my card to red as soon as I get a piece of meat, so they're not trying to give me more until I'm ready for it. And I'd go to the salad bar for JUST a large salad first.

Good luck! And don't sweat it if you go a little overboard, just get right back on the stick.

Having been to several Brazialan steak houses in the past, they usually already have the fatty parts shaved off. That being said, thye tend to add bacon to a lot of meats. Steer clear of those offerings if you have the reserve. The ribs are dripping in fat. So is the lamb. And sausage is usually made with lots of fat. The ribeye will have more fat than the other meats. But truthfully, when they bring the skewer around, you likely won't know what the heck you are looking at and if it is anything like my experieinces, when you ask them, you won't really understand what they are saying, or if you do, will have no idea what they just said as they call it by its formal name. Just eyeball the meat and take a gamble.

Biggest tip? TURN THAT CARD OVER TO RED...IF YOU CAN!!!!
