Question Period! Pcos sucks.

Okay so I just got my period after not having it for nine months. I had it 9 months ago but it was forces by provera. Before I had the forced period I went way over a year with out Having my period. And today I got and as uou can imagine I was super surprised. I don't see the doctor regularly like I should and so I am wondering if this mean me that I have list so e weight? Or what would cause me to have a natural period after nine months of not having one?? Please help?

Ugh! That does suck!! I don't have PCOS, but I just got mine after (are you ready for this) - SIX YEARS!!! I was told I was in early menopause. I am (planning on) going to go see the Doctor however... Have you contacted anyone???

No, just because you got your period doesn't mean you lost weight.

The problem with PCOS is that it makes our cycles wonky and something happened in your body that it said, "Ok, go release the cycle!" but it could be hormonal in nature, not weight loss. It could be anything, in other words.

If you haven't seen a doctor recently, you should -- not because you got your period, but because if you have PCOS and you're not treating it, you may be losing the windows of opportunity to get better and healthier.
