I did it, I started the spuat Challage!!!!!
I know day 1 seems like such a small vitory, but I did it. I did 50 squats, I've never done 50 squats before ever in my life!!! I love this site so much. Only my second day on here and I can already tell that this time I'll be able to lose the weight and keep it off!!!!

Good for you! I too started the Squat Challenge a few days ago. I'm now on the day you do 60 squats, which is 60 more than I normally do. I never would have heard of this, or thought to do it on my own, if it weren't for this forum.

Same here. I found it on their fb page. I think the only time I have ever done quats was back in high school lol. I'm kinda surprised tho I though I'd be worn out but it gave me more energy.

Congrats! 50 squats in my opinion is amazing!
I am thinking of taking that challenge later on in my weight loss. Right now I can only do 5 squats with out injuring myself. Not joking. Once I did 10.... I couldn't walk for 24 hours (Not exaggerating) and for a week I was super sore. 10 was all I could physically do till my legs gave out. I have strong legs-Its the back of my knees and along that area that needs lots of work.

I know the feeling, I have back issues too, they call in a bulge but its a disc out of place. I just didnt go all the way down and tried to keep my back lose, like not tense it at all, not as intense of a workout but legs still feel like jello lol

I've been thinking of starting it. I pinned the challenge weeks ago, but I haven't been brave enough to start!

You are doing awesome! If I did 50 squats I'd never be able to walk the next day. You are so inspiring!

WOW... Good for you... If I tried to do a squat someone would have to get the ambulance so they could straighten me back up LOL BUT that is just for the time being... I WILL do them... You are an inspiration.. GOOD FOR YOU!

For the people doubting they could do the squat challenge, let me throw out an idea!
My friend and I started about 3 weeks ago. We gave ourselves 24 hours to complete the squats. We would do 5 - 10 squats every hour at work til we finished. When we got to day 14 or 15 soreness was turning to pain. So we took 3 days off, and restarted the challenge. Now we do 10 - 15 squats every hour. We are on day 6 today, and it is MUCH easier this time around!

Congratulations!!! I started the squat challenge on the 1st and today is a rest day. Tomorrow kicks back up w/ 100 squats, though, and I have to admit to being a little nervous, LOL I noticed while doing my 80 yesterday that it was getting harder to complete. I'll probably start breaking them up into 2 sessions shortly.
