Hi Everyone! I haven't posted in a while but have been lurking when I can! I'm so proud of all of the accomplishments on this board. Way to Geaux!! I'm feeling great and am so surprised by how the fat literally melts off on this diet!!!
I need a new scale for the house and was wondering if y'all have any recommendations on scales. I know some somehow can predict your body fat, water weight etc.. I'm interested to hear if any of you have one of those and if you believe they are accurate. Thanks for your help everyone and have a wonderful day!!
I have a Salter brand digital that weighs to the .2 lb and is super accurate. It does not do the fat ect...because I do not believe those are accurate at all.
I just got rid of a TFY scale after finding out that it was more than forty pounds out on me and a good 15 on my smaller boyfriend. I do not recommend that one!
I have a conair weight watcher's scale now that was highly recommended. I noticed that it doesn't "waver" like my old one did at all. I like it, and it's accurate according to my dr's scale and another one I use.
I have the Eatsmart one on Amazon and it's the ONLY way to go. It doesn't do the fat etc.because I had one of those and they are way too complicated to operate.
My coach has a Tanita. Not sure the model.
I weigh on that every week or two. It gives a print-out of stats.
I may end up with one of those at some point.
DH will probably just want me to get a plain-old non-fancy one.
I just use my wii-fit at home. It is very close to the clinic scale, without all the bells and whistles (weight and BMI only)
I have this Omron scale and love it. It has memory and you can scroll through to see what your prior weight was for 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days. It also stores the body fat%, visceral fat, body age and muscle%. It seems to be really accurate. I can weigh myself 2-3 times in a row and the number doesn't change. I had a Tanita before and it would give me a different weight each time I stepped on it.

I have one that measures all that and one night I'm 40% fat and the next morning 22% I stopped paying attention to all that and just use it for the weight, which seems to be pretty accurate.
Sounds like you have a lot of good options here. I've always had such horrible luck buying scales.
I recently bought the Thinner Glass & Chrome scale ($30? at Bed Bath & Beyond). It's digital and just provides weight only, but I can weigh myself 20 different times and get the same exact weight each time. Very consistent.

I have this same scale, I have not used it yet though, but am looking forward to it.
I use the Ozeri Precision II Digital Bath Scale, love it so much that I have bought it twice. I was moving boxes into the back room and slid one of the boxes into the scale and it messed up the sensor on the bottom, so I didnt repurchase it do to a fault of its own
Thank you all so much for your recommendations! I've had my walmart scale for probably 10 years now but noticed that I might want to get another scale when I weighed myself with my Dad's newer scale. I was 5lbs lighter on my Dad's scale!!!!! I was very happy but really have no idea which one is correct! Thanks again for taking the time the reply everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful day/weekend!!
