I was thinking for the colored plans, that to do the program without the bars, you went up to the next higher colored plan and did that one without the bars to make for the lost calories in the lower program.

I'm not sure if your Canadian program was different, or if your were on the numbered plan. I think there were a lot of people from Canada on the boards back in the day, so you could probably just search "canada lawl" and see what pops up! Maybe they would have the old maintenance tips.
