Default New here..introduction:)

Hello,

So I started IP March 18, 2013. My first week I lost 10lbs
I'm half way through my second week and lost 3. And that's ok because I know it will drop off, plus I'm due to start my period shortly and I always gain a few pounds right before..so I'm hoping few days after it starts I will see a larger drop in weight.

I've heard of so many success stories and I hope to include myself in them soon!

So far foods I LOVE:
  1. Maple Oatmeal
  2. Strawberry Waffers
  3. Southwest Puffs
  4. Chocolate puffs
  5. Wild berry Yogurt drink
  6. Piña colada drink
  7. cheese and broccoli soup
I'm sure I'll be adding to the list

Stuff I'm not fond of and won't get again!
  • Butterscotch pudding-was surprised as it smelt so good!
  • Dark chocolate pudding..too pasty
  • cheese omelet ..texture was just wrong!

Looking forward to meeting others on the same journey.

I was in your boat about the dark chocolate pudding. Not a fan.

BUT....IdealProteinNewbie suggested adding a bit of WF Caramel Syrup and a bit of sea salt to it and blending it with ice. OMG. So tasty. I use the Caramel Dip, instead of the syrup. It's super good. Salted Caramel Chocolate Pudding.

For the butterscotch, I've found I really like blending it with a bit of the WF Caramel Dip and a tablespoon of decaf instant coffee crystals and some ice. It is a reasonable approximation of a frappuccino.

As puddings I found them both lacking, but as drinks...I look forward to making them.

Welcome cdnmomof2!

I'm in my 4th week myself. It's great that you already found so many packets to like, it definitely makes it easier having more variety. I liked the plain omelette, but after having it two weeks straight, I can't face eggs again for a while. haha.

Hi everyone,
I just started IP last week so my first WI will be on Tuesday. Looking forward to making this journey and hearing about everyone's weight loss.

I like the Herb and Cheese omelet .. I added chopped sautéed veggies and made into a frittata. Great lunch with lettuce salad.

Hello & Welcome!!!
I know how you feel about the puddings. I have not been able to stand any of them since the very beginning (even tried to use them for other things). Good luck!!!

cdnmomof2 - WELCOME!

Come to this site often and check-in. There are wonderful people here (newbies and oldies) that can help you with your IP journey. At the top of the forum are two "sticky's" that have a lot of great information. Try to spend some time there. Most any question that has ever been thought of is in there with an answer. If you need a quick answer, the best place to ask is in the "daily chat" Thread.

Good Luck - we're all here for you! Jen
