I seriously can't find anything in my sleeve manual (lol) about smoothies. I blended a protein shake with Greek yogurt, CPB2, and, my question ingredient, two strawberries. There are no lumps. Can I have that?
Depends on how good your blender is. Strawberry seeds are hard to grind. You really want to avoid those for 3 months, unless they are frozen strawberries? Fresh would be the problem.
how did you feel after the smoothie? i had a TERRIBLE time with smoothies because of all the air that gets beaten into them. But then again, i had the RNY, and the sleeve is different. In fact, 10+ years later and i STILL won't drink a smoothie.
Thanks, y'all. They were fresh from the garden. I took one sip and felt a seed, so spit it out and haven't had the rest. I'll give it to my kiddos.
I'll try sugar free jelly or syrup for my strawberry fix this year.
