Hi ladies! I thought I'd share a fun thing that happened to me at the gym yesterday. It's nice to have this forum to celebrate our wins without feeling like we're bragging to our friends!
I've been doing this body pump class at the gym for ages now. I go through phases where I go 3+ times a week and become pretty strong. For those not familiar with it it's a cardio#weight lifting class where you do a full body workout with weights of your choice.
Well yesterday I was in class feeling pretty good about being able to lift as much, if not more, than the guy instructor ( given he can probably lift way more but still has to keep it at an ok enough weight to be able to talk in his microphone!). After the class, the girl behind me came and said to me " you're officially my hero! I was looking at you the whole class and am hoping to one day be able to lift as much". I was taken aback by her kindness and told her she made my day! It's not often that some stranger just walks up to you to say something like that and it made me feel great about my accomplishments
