Default Newbie

Hi everyone loz here :-)

I've got PCOS and have always had problems with my weight the main problem being I'm carrying to much of it..
I'm struggling to get my weight down and it seems harder then ever..I'm at weight watchers at the moment but my loss is very very slow I've lost 7lb in 7 weeks and sadly still have a whopping 50lbs to lose, I'm feeling Bit down and negative at the moment and feel like I'm never gonna get to goal.
I would like to say though that this forum is great and has really helped me to remember I'm not alone in my quest to shed the pounds.. Thanks guys xx

Hi loz, sure you will make it!, I'm a extreme newbie too, just a couple days on this forum and a month and a half into fat loss. At first I thought I'd drop it fast but as the days passed, realized this is going to be a pretty long term thing.

Stick with it, it will happen. I must admit last week I hit a plateau and was very let down not seeing any drop in fat, not even a ounce for a while! But it's back on track with a little coaxing.

You are alone! 7lbs lost is better than 7 lbs gained and you can do it. Slower is better forsure just need to know that in time you will be very pleased with your results! Dont be too down on yourself, i think your doing great! Keep it up

You are so right. Long term is what it is. Its a lifestyle change we need to make. Hitting a plateau is your body telling you that you need to change it up alittle and give yourself alittle more of a challenge i think. Good Luck and stay at it...we are all here for you

Hi Hun just wanted to let you know you are not alone !!! I am 38 and I am 279 lbs and I have been overweight since I first got pregnant with my daughter 20 years ago !! 3 children later and still overweight but you know what as long as you are losing that is what matters !! My 18 year old which is my middle child is losing weight ( I am afraid my eating habbits and lack of excercise and not hubby's has influenced her ) to be able to go to the Air Force and she is at a stand still as well !! Keep it up hun and you will get there !!! Losing just a little is everything !!! Do not give up you will get there !!!! Like the others said you may have to change it up but you can do it !!!!!!

Thanks marymo, yes, lifestyle change it sure is. To restart the fatloss I dropped the daily intake down a little and it worked.
Best to you!
