Default Feeling terrible!

Well, as good as I felt week one, I feel equally as terrible today. My stomach has not stopped growling. I woke up nauseous this morning and the thought of eating any if the IP food was stomach turning. And boy, am I cranky. I put my son to bed at 7:30 pm last evening and made a batch if soup for the week. I intended to go to bed early as well since I am up a couple if times a night with the little one, but what did I do instead ? Stated up and watched The Bachelor until midnight! I was up again at 3:30 am and baby decided to be up for the day at 6:30 am and has been a but cranky himself today. So I think that is why I feel crappy. Tired and stressed. It is also what has led me to put on 25 lbs after pregnancy. I am reading through these boards for recipes and motivation, cause today is the day I am rationalizing in my mind why a few carbs aren't so bad, and there is always tomorrow to start again.

If the IP food is just too unappealing at the moment you could always have part of your evening protein and some veggies now. That might quench the hunger enough and you can have a shake or something later to get in the packet.

You could also have a couple of hard boiled egg whites...or cook them like an omelet with some veggies. Sometimes I eat a big bowl of lettuce drizzled with WF dressing and that seems to hold me over till dinner. Pickles are a good treat when you don't know what else to eat.

Fatigue and cranky babies are so hard! Hang in there girl and hopefully you can take a nap when your baby naps.

Have you been on IP long? I felt EXACTLY the same way about 4 days in....then it got better....I did what M35A2 suggested....ate my protein earlier in the day.

I also had a spell like that in week 5. I know what caused it though....I didn't eat enough veggies the day before, and I felt like I was starved but couldn't stomach anything to eat. So, again, I ate some protein....made some scrambled eggs for breakfast. That seemed to perk my body up a bit, and I was able to eat the rest of the day normally.

Don't give up!
