20 lbs lighter and 125 dollars richer
I AM THE WINNER!!!!!
So Freaking Excited.
I won!
We had a first to lose 20 lbs challenge at work that started on Jan 2nd and today I am 20.4 lbs lighter than I was 10 weeks ago.
I came in super early this morning and weighed in and was patiently waiting for everyone else to weigh in, then I get a phone call saying that one of the other girls lost 20.6 (that would make her the winner) I was super happy for her (but sad for me) So, I went out to congratulate her and that's when they told me they were joking and I had won!
YAY!!!!!
I am so happy, for all of us

money money money! Very good motivation. I think it's even better when its someone else's money!
Makes me wonder about this app called Gym Pact. It takes your (real) money when you skip the gym and rewards you (more real money) when you go when you say you were going to. Hmmmm...

Good for you! It feels great to lose the 20 pounds and great to win the money. I did that with some people at work a few years ago.......it really motivated me because I'm so competitive!

That reminds me, one other member (TudorRose) mentioned the DietBet website, an online weight loss challenge with money as prizes and I think there are different kinds like winner takes all, 1st/2nd/3rd prizes, etc and there are all different amounts you can bet. I was going to do it about a month ago but I got sick and etc so once I start feeling 100% and figure out what's wrong with me for sure then I will do it! Maybe check it out?
ETA- congrats on winning and losing~! heh.
