Default New to Ideal Protein

Hello - I am on day three of Ideal Protein and seem to be doing OK so far. A little light headed today but had expected to feel poopy this week.

Am 5' 2" and have around 20 pounds to loss. Our son is getting married in June, so I have lots of motivation to take off the weight, hopefully before the bridal shower. Current weight 157 Age 53 (very close to 54)

Have struggled with weight my whole life and am looking for something that I can stick with for life. In the past I have done Weight Watchers as well as Atkins. Choose my coach from a recommendation from a friend.

So far I like most of the food; herb omelet, crispie cereal, choc pudding. Guess I am not very picky.

Looking forward to sharing thoughts with all of you.

Hello SafetyLady,

I'm on day two and having the same lightheaded experience (plus a headache today). I was prepared to start the program, but these first few days sure are a reality check. Can't wait until I feel better.

I'm sure our next weigh-ins will make it well worth it!

Welcome everyone......yes the dreaded 3-4 days are rough but for most, much better after that. I have done a ton of diets in my life and this one worked the best and I was able to stick to it for a lot longer. Good luck to all of you!

New folks are joining every day and there are tons of lurkers who are too shy to join in the party! As word of mouth (and physical evidence of it's benefits) spread there'll be more and more showing up.

I actually found this forum prior to signing up for the program and so glad I did. The combination of a great diet and great support network make this the easiest diet I've ever been on (and I've been on MANY).

Take advantage of all the knowledge that's been posted and if you have a question of your own and can't find the answer drop into the daily thread where you're likely to get an answer quicker than posting a new thread.

Welcome! And glad you could join all of us losers!
