I never found a definitive list online or in book form, but I developed most of my plus style from watching a few journaling communities in the middle 00s targeted toward fatshionistas - young plus-sized women who had keen eyes for trendy, fun and relaxed styles. I also took cues from watching old episodes of What Not To Wear... I am a pretty big fan of not so much full-on tailored clothing, but 'classics', I suppose. When I was plus sized, I was really big on labels like Jones New York, American Rag, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, etc - and they have pretty decent basics you can mix with the more fun tops/skirts/shorts from other retailers.
The best advice I have is to take looks you like from the non-plus world and translate them to fit your activities/lifestyle/comfort. And if you find any good guides on your tours online or offline, I hope you'll let us know!
I'm interested in in the new fashions for the plus sized public, even though I've become a regular-sized girl - it's all so much better than what I was accustomed to as a teenager and young adult!
