Default Week One success

I have not been to a fast food restaurant in a week! This may be a lame "success" but for me it's huge. Drive thru is my biggest weight loss hurdle. I officially joined weight watchers Thursday at 169 lb, so I won't weigh in until Thursday to see if this has had an impact on the scale, but it has surely had an impact on how I feel.

Congrats!!! I totally know how hard not eating out can be. Sometimes I just don't wanna cook! Keep it up, learning to make yourself healthy meals will totally make an impact on the scale and how you feel. Keep it up Skinnytaste.com is a great place to find lots of healthy recipes too!

Congratulations! Avoiding something you really love is always a hard habit to break. Eventually you'll be driving by them and not even think about it.

I do understand! It is hard to break a habit, especially one like this that is easier than cooking.

We tend(ed) to eat out a lot, including fast food. Breaking a habit that like that is hard!

You can do it--and you'll be glad you did it! Success breeds success...

No success is lame! That really is brilliant, congratulations

I definitely recommend checking out recipes, I have one for making healthy burgers that looks delicious that I want to try out. If you can work out how to make your own healthier and tastier versions of certain foods, especially if you can freeze or pre-prepare (is that a word?) them, then you're laughing!

I know how hard it is. Good for you. Pretty soon you'll be craving healthy food rather than fast food.

I have had an addiction to McDonald's cheeseburgers, fries and their hot mustard sauce since I worked there in 1981! After the pink slime photos, I no longer can stomach the meat. But I do love their hot mustard sauce, I wish they would bottle it like taco bell has bottled their sauce. A little sauce makes life tastier!!
