No matter what is happening in our lives... good things or not so good things - there are always things for which we can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life in perspective. It feels so good to acknowledge gratitudes. Studies show that doing this makes you feel good -and, also, you'll have a more positive outlook.

* even though my marriage is alot of what seems like wasted effort there are those in much worse situations.
* my kids having ins. to have their medical n dental tended when needed.
* our neighbors helping thru our water well problems.
* always seeming to have/get whats needed.
**Being retired and financially able to enjoy it.

**Living in a country where a large percentage of the population needs to diet. Sounds nuts, but it means we have so much.
Sitting in my family room and enjoying the beautiful view out my windows of the snow falling. I feel like I'm in a old Bing Crosby movie,,Hmm maybe I'll put White Christmas in the DVD and drink Some IP Hot Chocolate,Yum!
Watching our 2 Airedale Terriers and our Golden Retriever romp in the snow.
Having a Hubby that tinkered with the furnace this morning when the temperature on the main floor was 59 degrees.:
Being able to find my mom a new warm winter coat at Kohls yesterday and she liked it .
Seeing my family in the kitchen,Hubby washing dishes,and daughter baking a cake. So grateful all of my kids know their way around the kitchen.
I'm grateful that I am taking time to enjoy the simple things in life ...there was a time that I was not as appreciative as I should have been.
- our little 6 year old neighbor shoveled the driveway. So sweet... I went to pay him some money. He said that dh already paid him. 'For today?; I asked. 'No, for last week.' I told him I would pay him for today, too. His eyes lit up. Very dear.
- coming home to a home that can warm up quickly when we set the temp higher
- friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cellphone, music
- got my paycheck for my performances, from the Arts Council...finally.
* being able to get special shampoo, creams n pills 4 my dd's new puppys skin allergies- hope she outgrows it or the pills at least get it under control!
* bills getting paid
* running water n electric
* my car running well
* my 2 n 4 legged kids
* family, friends n neighbors all helping each other out
It snowed and my husband shoveled while I was nice and toasty inside the house .
Watching our 3 dogs romp in the snow with my husband .
The smell of a pot of fresh coffee brewing.
My electric blanket.
My Directv is working.
Not enough snow for kids to miss school.
Polar Fleece socks for my feet that are always cold.
February is a short month! Our cupboards are full
Everyone has gotten over from being sick.
I know even when times are hard I have a Promise to hold onto
