Question How to measure veggies???

Hello everyone! I am new to ideal protein and I have discovered Kale Chips!! I measure out 2 cups of Kale, however after baking they shrivel up to about 1/2 cup. Does this still count as 2 cups of vegetables or do I need to measure after baking????

I am wondering this too! Spinach disappears too when you cook it!

Your 2 cups of veggies should be measured prior to cooking. When it comes to spinach and kale, I just pack it in super tight!!

Also, kale does not count as part of the unlimited lettuce.

Measure raw. You can pack those greens in the cup (same with spinach).

Kale is on the select veggie list so it is not a "lettuce". Lettuce is romaine, iceburg, boston, leaf: things that are actually named "lettuce".
There are other greens on the select veggie list too.
Always check the Phase 1 sheet when in doubt.

I remember when I started, I thought 'omg, that's a lot of vegetables I'm going to have to eat...' but once it's cooked, it really doesn't look like much!
