Default I think we are ready...

Update: I got a nice, big, fat... POSITIVE!!

..................

I've been having problems with my BC and before the New Year I stopped taking it... I haven't realized how much BC pills killed my libido... My husband sure is happy that I'm not taking them anymore

Anyhow, we were talking and decided that now is the perfect time to have another baby... I've been wanting another child for a while and I definitely want to have all my kids before 30... (Turning 29 in a few weeks)

So, I'm not planning on loosing weight during pregnancy BUT I just don't want to gain more than the 15-20 lbs required. With my 1st I gained sooo much that I weight in at 209 when I went into labor... With my 2nd one I only gained 10lbs but I was 187 at the time of delivery... With this one I just don't want to go over 160.... My back kills me when I'm over weight.

My plan is to go on a good but strict diet for this month to put me at least at 140 (I get pregnant very easily, so I'm almost sure it will be this month or the next ) so that way I will not go over 160...

What do you guys think of my plan???? I plan on keeping exercising. This pregnancy will NOT be like my other two... Just a free pass to eat and be lazy lol

I was the same way - gained a ton of weight with my first one, gained a moderate amount with my second, and then I was very careful with my 3rd. Although, he's 3 now and I'm still trying to get rid of the weight that I did gain. Lol. Good luck and congrats on your pending pregnancy!

Everyone I know with 3 kids gained the least by far with the 3rd, so hopefully it will be the same for you!

Personally, if I was super strict for a month before TTC I would eat everything in sight as soon as I got pregnant (depending on morning sickness of course). I gained 40lbs with my son and do not ever want to do that again since I started out overweight, so I can completely understand wanting to get to a good weight quickly.

We will TTC #2 when my husband comes home from deployment, but I have months and months to get to the weight I want to be and maintain it for awhile. I think your plan is a good one as long as you don't cut back to the point you are really depriving yourself and then it all goes out the window when the hormones kick in.

Good luck!

But a new baby always kills a libido! Haha.

Good luck! I just had my 2nd about 9 weeks ago. I used a DVD called "Baby Bells" by Lauren Brooks in my pregnancies and found it really helped with labour and staying fit.

I was on the pill for years except when TTC our 2 babies. Since we had our 2nd and final baby last December I haven't been on the pill and MAN same here, I never realized how much it killed my libido!!!

I also wanted to have all my kids before I turned 30. I turned 30 in August and our 2 kids are 3 and a half and 1.

Best of luck to you in all of your pregnancy goals!!!

kurbain: I am still loosing my 1st child "baby weight" hahaha... 6 years later!

emurph: Keeping my fingers crossed!!! Hopefully is the same with me.

Mozzy: Thanks

sacha: Hahaha! You really made me laugh!!! After this one I will probably "get fixed" so I don't have to worry about BC. But yes, I hope my husband is appreciating all this actions because it won't last!

LockItUp: It is amazing what those pills do to you. Also, during ovulation time I was always bloated and just plain moody (where you are supposed to be sexy and happy... lol ) After this one, I am done for sure and I am not going back to pills... I will take my heavy periods back anytime.

Got a positive this morning, very fade line because I'm impatience!!

I plan on eating super healthy from today on... Im not a huge drinker but I will miss my "here and there" glass of wine!

If everything goes to plan this little bundle should be here by October 1st

I will stay on this forum because I don't want to go crazy with my eating and I think being here will keep me in place.

Sooo happy! I'm waiting for hubby to be home

Congratulations!! I still remember waiting for my husband to come home, too, so I could tell him, and that was 12 & 14 years ago! Fun!! Here's to a happy, healthy pregnancy!

Congratulations!! My sister actually lost weight at the beginning of her pregnancy due to cleaning up her diet. I can't imagine the excitement of waiting for him to come home. Gosh, I can't wait for that one day.
