Default What's your go to food?

Hey gals.. Just wondering what your go to food is that you always have in your kitchen?
Mine would have to be salsa. I can put it on anything. I use it instead of salad dressing, I put in on veggies with sour cream after I cook them. Tell me what's something you always have in your kitchen.

Mine is Greek yogurt. I love to make a quasi-tzatziki (yogurt with cucumber and garlic) to have with meat or salmon.

I also use it as dressing/dip with some of this seasoning in it http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penze...sfoxpoint.html It's kind of like ranch dressing.

Or I add sweetener and vanilla or other flavorings for a sweet treat. I also use it to cook and bake with, esp. the oat bran pancakes I have on the Dukan Diet. It would be a very unusual day for me to not have at least a little bit of greek yogurt in something!

Cottage cheese and eggs. I have a hardboiled egg for breakfast everyday. And apples. I also roast a chicken once a week.

I also cook with lots of garlic and onions.

It's not really a "food" but I always have Tabasco sauce on hand. It can spice up so many things and I love stuff hot, hot, hot!!

Unsweetened applesauce cups, string cheese, fiber one brownies, cottage cheese, greek yogurt, bananas and apples. I probably eat 4/5 of these every single day!

Yogurt (I'm making my own now and having so much fun with it!), eggs (usually have 4-5 dozen in the fridge, as it's not uncommon for the two of us to go through a dozen in a single day), grass-fed beef, coconut oil, coconut milk

Cobb salads. I eat them all the time for lunch. I keep the bagged spring mix lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, bacon bits, cucumber, lite balsamic vinegarette and (either smoked turkey or grilled chicken) in my work fridge constantly. I never get sick of it.

When I'm being lazy and want healthy and filling - pinto beans and instant brown rice or instant oatmeal (not the packet kind, but the tub kind) and raisins. Less lazy, I'll add some corn, chopped peppers, tomatoes and hot sauce to my rice and beans. And flax seed, cinnamon and apples to my oatmeal.
