I am now taking zumba classes. When it snows I am unwilling to drive to my classes. I am thinking about buying Zumba Gold to use on those days when I am unable to go to class. I am not a very good zumba student, however I enjoy my classes. Has anyone tried Zumba Gold and what are your thoughts on this program?

I have the regular Zumba dvd's, and I love them. In my opinion, the best thing about the dvds (besides avoiding the weather) is that you don't judge yourself. There's no one else in the room to compare yourself too, so it's even more fun (for me, anyway).

Hi,

I am thinking about ordering zumba gold for my mom. I do regular zumba and I know it would be too much for her. She is only 56, but had a stent placed in her heart 2 years ago (cleared to exercise) and she is at least 75 lbs overweight at 5'7"

How did you like the dvd? Any feedback, sucess stories, etc. would be appreciated.

Zumba Gold is a lower intense level of regular zumba. It is very good for a person just starting out or is overweight. I have done regular zumba and I wished they had this program when I started. The steps are less complicated and the music is not quite as fast as regular zumba. Since you are doing this at home you can do this at your own pace. I am not overweight, but I am 63 and not a good dancer at all.

Now that everyone seem to be praising Zumba gold, I will join the bandwagon and order one at the end of the month.
