Today was a really hard day but I feel like I pulled through and I'm actually surprised at myself. We had a huge party at work complete with a gigantic sheet cake frosted with real whipped cream (I know I both had to order it, pick it up, deliver it and cut it without eating even a lick of it). The pot luck style buffet table was all carbs except for the turkey and ham and of corse the veggie platter I brought.
Then, get home from work and the SO and kids have ordered pizza for dinner. So tired and ready to give in, but I just peeled the cheese off the top of a few pieces and ate that for dinner.
I'm glad I stayed on track. It's probably being in keto that kept me from cheating, I can't think of any other place the willpower could have come from. Just wanted to post because I'm so surprised with myself. And it's a good reminder that low carb is like its own appitite suppressant.
ah good job resisting temptation, it's so hard sometimes especially when you're so busy and don't have the time to cook or prepare yourself healthy foods.

Good job! I stopped at Wendy's last night so my friend could order her husband dinner. When I got back in the truck after dropping her off, all I could smell were french fries.
I was good and had a salad, but wow - talk about temptation!
The cake and pizza wouldn't have tasted half as good as they looked and smelled! Good work resisting the temptation and thank you for sharing with us. I'm not on Atkins but I can appreciate the temptation and inspiration in your post.
Good for you!! I would have broken. Pizza is one thing I refuse to give up and have steadfastly worked it into my plan with flat out wraps or lean cuisines.
