No matter what is happening in our lives... good things or not so good things - there are always things for which we can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life in perspective. It feels so good to acknowledge gratitudes. Studies show that doing this makes you feel good -and, also, you'll have a more positive outlook.

- our little Maya fell down her basement steps. Long story short - she is OK. I am so, so grateful.
- Shirley is home from the hospital. She needs to heal and then she'll feel so much better.
- yesterday was mostly healthy - up until bedtime.
- finally figured some things about my new word processor - and I emailed the invoice to one of my schools. (along with getting the accurate email address, finally)
- DH fixed the plumbing in the front bathroom.
- my friends, my family, YOU ALL, fb, iternet, cell, music
- my shopping for Maya & Alex is done via the internet
* managing to actually lose 2lbs for Nov so surprised!
* that im learning to "fly" (finally love yourself)
* i get to run my errands alone today (peace n quiet rare in my world)
* long time friendships
+ that we suddenly had no water at the Town Hall last night where I was on duty and I was able to close the public washrooms and come home at 7:30 to get warm
+ my friend John was awarded the Queen's Jubilee Medal
+ a baptism at Church today - a longer service but a dear wee baby
+ baking, gift wrapping and outside lights on today's agenda
+ bought gift cards for the teens at the Post Office yesterday saving a trip to town
* bill of the week paid
* happy pills refilled
* house stocked back up with healthy choices
* car running good n tank is full
* modern ammenities
* cellphone with internet
* YMCA, 3FC, healthy eating class
* scale still going in rite direction
* having a plan, a goal and the motivation to follow thru!
* my kids n dogs
* my neighbors kind and generous help lasnite
3FC you ladies n gents are awesome, informative and inspiring motivation for me thank you just doesnt seem to cover it!
- Friend Brent (52) died peacefully of lung cancer today, he wasn't taken quickly and everyone had a chance to say good-bye
- Went for a massage and the robe fit better than it ever has before
- Tons of snow to shovel. Positive....hmm, yes - shovelling is good exercise and the nice light snow will make wonderful fluff for my favourite activity xcountry skiing!!
- Husband and kids happy and healthy, house full of love.
