Anyone interested in a "staying on plan through the holidays" thread?
In my case it's really getting back on plan before the holidays send me all the way over the edge. I can set my own goals and make a checklist but I always do better when I have to report back here every night. I'm thinking some goals through January 1st, daily check-ins, etc. Anyone interested?

I absolutely MUST get back in control so I'm in! I might even bite the bullet and reinstate my ticker.

OK, I'm in. And with Ruth spending Thanksgiving with me, we can keep each other accountable. Right, Ruthie?

I'm in and Anna is with us (not for weight loss but just eating healthy.) I'm out of control.

Just noticed, only Pearlrose and I signed up for this Monty's exercise challenge.....hmmm perhaps other chicks would like to join us....hint hint lol
Today's goal is no grains. Over did it yesterday as food selection was limited due to the area we were in. Breakfast, lunch and one snack all on plan. Lately though I seem to be lacking in water consumption. Gotta work a little harder in that.

I'm not south beach diet. Is it open to outsiders? If you want to keep it in the group no worries at all. Just browsing new posts and loved the title, didn't think to look at the forum until later .

I just put up a new post about getting back to work before the holidays get under way, so I'm definitely interested!
Started at 170, lost 30, need to lose another 20-25. And need encouragement to stay active even when the weather sucks!

In myself!!! It's why I started Ph1 this week but I need to be on plan throughout! We're going to dinner for turkey day so DW can have her cheat day (and not days) and I don't need to have it in the house for days...

Jenne that is a really smart plan for Thanksgiving. I will be working. Last year everyone brought a dish. Not only wasn't the food non traditional the majority was high fat and un healthy. Hopefully this week we will get our acts together at work and decide if we will do like last year or chip in an have it catered.

Thanks Jennifer - for $70 we get a 3 course meal, of which I will eat two. DW can have her dessert and mine and we won't waste food and neither of us will be tempted for the days before the cruise. Sad that there are no turkey and sides leftovers but being that there are only two of us, I'd spend $100+ at the grocery store so I call it savings...
