Default Hard Boiled Eggs

If I eat one hard boiled egg in the morning with my coffee, how many more oz. of protein/meat am I allowed to eat for the remainder of the day?

Thank you!

My coach just emailed me and said that (1) egg is equal to half the amount of my protein because of the yolk....is this true? Seems a bit ridiculous and the one egg saved me all morning long!

No - they are going by an old sheet (which used to say that a whole protein portion was 2 whole eggs plus two egg whites). The most recently updated Phase 1 sheet states that 4 whole eggs plus two egg whites is equal to your protein portion - so one egg would be 1/4 of that, or 2 oz

I agree with Scorbett... my coach said I was allowed 4 eggs per day as my daily protein in P1. So that means one would equal 1/4 of that.
I also split a bit of my protein up throughout the day... it made my salad more appetizing and satisfying during P1.
Sounds like you're doing great.... keep it up!

Has anyone posted the newest sheet somewhere? Could someone do it?

re: Hard boiled eggs -- I love my Egg Genie!!! (https://www.buyegggenie.com/)
It really is easier than messing with pot and water, microwave etc. It is very precise and produces great eggs (you can make hard, medium, and soft).

One word of caution: make a whole in the end that was sitting up or otherwise egg will leak all over place while cooking...they advise opposite, but that hasn't worked too well for me.

It's in the Newbie thread, but here's a link to it:

I threw my Egg Genies in the trash. Too much work. I now hard boil eggs in the top of a steamer. Eggs you can actually peel.

Has anyone tried hard "boiling" them in the oven? I saw on pinterest you could put them in muffin cups and do that. Was wondering if anyone has tried that.

A friend of mine puts them directly on the grates and bakes them... I've never done this myself but she says it works.

I have an egg cooker that makes 7 eggs at a time. I never have a hard time peeling them, it is so easy and no water mess..
