Hi everyone!

I am a 39 year old (40 in Jan.) single mom of 4 kids (21,18,15,7) that has a lot of weight to lose (109lbs). I' d really like to join in on your group instead of the 30's as I don't want to switch groups in a couple of months when I turn 40. Would this be ok?

Welcome aboard! Good luck on your journey. You'll find lots of great support here. I am 42, and so far, my 40s are sooooo much better than my 30s were. I hope you find your 40s to be the best decade yet!

Welcome aboard! I'm 42 (I'll be 43 in Jan), and my kids are 13, 10 and 8. I've lost 50 pounds so far, and I'm working on my last 20.

I am currently counting calories. I just started and I have a long way to go. My highest weight was 262 lbs but when I started counting calories a couple of weeks ago I was at 253. I am currently at 248. I am a very slow loser but I am in this for the long haul!
