No matter what is happening in our lives... good things or not so good things - there are always things for which we can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life in perspective. It feels so good to acknowledge gratitudes. And - studies show that doing this make you feel good.

Thanks, Ruth, for getting us started.
I just got home from a wonderful visit with my grandkids and their parents. I am so grateful.
My sister is coming to visit! I am so grateful for that , too.
Saw so many pretty leaves. My favorite time of the year.
My grandaughter stops fussing when I sing to her,

+ Disney is having tooth problems but my vet is going to fix her up. I am grateful I can afford doggie dental work.
+ yellow wild grape leaves mixed with red Virginia creeper - lovely on the fences!
+ some nice donation cheques for the Mill
+ roasted Brussels sprouts - a fall meal
+ another quilt is ready for binding. (I love to hand sew bindings while watching TV in the evening.)
+ my calendar that reminds me of things I forget - like people for dinner next Tuesday

- a wonderful visit with 'the kids'
- my sister can't come today, afterall - I am so disappointed. But, I am grateful she realizes her limitations for a 10 hour trip alone. She's just not strong enough yet
- mild fall weather
- grateful I am planning to take the cookies I got for Barb over to my mom's
- friends, family, YOU ALL, fb, internet, cell, music
- my warm sweatshirt on over my flannel nightgown.. good combo.
