Wow, it's been too long!!! LOL, did anyone know I was gone???
It's Jenn! I am 4 weeks out from surgery now (I apparently tore my entire toe ligament, they lifted the joint in my toe so I no longer walk on it AND they had to cut 1mm of my bone so now my toe is shorter!), semi-mobile and ready to hop back on the beach. I've followed it about 75% of the way over the last month so there is no super hard reason to NOT come back! I can't exercise yet but that will come with time.
Life's been rough between the surgery and I was told this week that I am going to go from a full time employee at work to a contractor (meaning I lose $$$, benefits and go from 5 days a week to 3). I am devastated and there is a lot of politics surrounding it. However, I was told that if I can hang in there until Jan., I could come back full time. But I don't think I can afford that.
As you can see, I've got a lot going on but will be hopping back to SBD full time. I've got another week before I am off short term disability (or more, depending on my doctor's visit next Thursday) so you are stuck with me.
