Default I survived Hurricane Isaac but my WOE did not.

Hey everyone! Hurricane Isaac's worst effects are past us but we still do not have power and there are no open grocery stores. My Atkins WOE went out of the window on Monday night while prepping for the storm. I still don't have electricity so not sure when I will resume Atkins, probably next week (when my electricity gets back up). I am so exhausted! We rode the storm out at home and the sounds were terrifying. My house sustained some damage, a piece of siding ripped away and was banging on my wall and window, our roof started leaking, my backyard is a swimming pool. I am just glad that the storm is over, been charging my phone in the car, and I'm so exhausted! I hope everyone else in my area stayed safe and hope we all get power back soon. Talk to y'all soon! There are a lot of huge trees and light poles down so be safe!

So glad to hear you are ok, Tiff. It must have been so frightening. Hang in there and do the best you can.

HeyTiff! Glad you are doing OK given the circustances that you are in!

Don't even think about your eating habbits for these few days. You don't need the extra work. Once everything is settle pick up where you left it.

I hope you and your family are good.

Thanks y'all
We are all safe, staying with family until our power comes back on. I hope everyone is doing well. My son is stir crazy, hopefully it won't rain tomorrow because he really wants to play outside. Hurricane conditions aside I really enjoy rainy days

Oh I so feel for you - I hate hurricane season. You can jump back in when things are back closer to normal.

Glad you are safe that is the most important thing

Thanks rho and ana
Power is still out but we are staying with family who has power -yay! Seems like things are moving back towards normal. I just hope I don't see too big of a jump on the scale from the carbs -well who knows. All is well and I won't let this setback get me down. I hope y'all have a nice weekend.
