This will sound funny and arrogant but I am grateful for the level of my intellect. As far as I can tell and I could be completely mistaken, my ability to think and reason is yet intact and it serves me well. Although, of course, if the brain WASN'T working too well, how would I know?
I am grateful that God has blessed me by bringing such wonderful doctors into my life! Doctors who are very knowledgeable but also caring, supportive and even funny! They are the greatest!
I'm grateful for my government grants (and to my nice mom!!) which will get me through my first 2 years with no debt. ...And for the community college system, which also helps. lol I was about to drop out because I didn't know how I'd pay or what I'm changing my major to... but I'm back full time now and in the honors program. It has changed my attitude about life a whole lot!!
