I enjoy running, and find it hard to do on phase I. I didn't run when I first did SBD, but on my redo's of phase I (trying to cut back on cravings or nibbling), I'll keep fruit but drop grains, which helps me tremendously. Since you don't have much to lose, this might work out okay for you...unless you really are trying to break a sugar addiction...then the fruit might mess you up!
