Default Mini goals might help

I have decided that setting a mini goal might help me mentally to lose weight. Losing 5 lbs at a time seems a lot easier than losing 35lbs.

Mini goal #1: Get down to 135lbs by August 26th
Mini goal #2: 130lbs by September 5th
Mini goal #3: 125lbs by time my 21st bday (September 21st)
Mini goal #4: Reach my final goal weight of 120lbs by October 5th

Hopefully when I reach my goal weight, I wont have a hard time maintaining it. Now I'm just wondering if these goals are reasonable.

That's a good idea I've set my mini-goal to weigh 135 lbs by Sept. 1st and my long-term is to be 125 lbs by the end of the year. I'm doing some light weight-lifting alongside Zumba and cardio work-outs, so I'm giving it a little more time because I'm not sure how my weight will be with adding muscle since I've never done it lol. I know that losing 2 lbs per week is a healthy rate, it looks like you would have to lose 2.5 or more a week to make your goals. Just make sure to take care of your health and listen to your body.
