Default Out of the 200's! (Update!!! See post 13)

Hello!

So... Today I weighed in at 203".something" pounds... And I had decided that by the end of July - seven days - I will forever be out of the 200's!

I started my weight loss jourrney on July 1st at 217lbs, and I have been working REALLY hard for two short-term goals... 1) Get ot of the 200's, and 2) Get out of the "obese" category for my height on the BMI scale (184lbs).

I have been careful not to do anything crazy (I still eat fruits, avocados, use EVOO, eat carbs and so on) but I've been trying to make healthier choices and be deligent with my workouts!

And so it is upon me... I am so close to getting to my forst goal of being under 200lbs!!!

Anyone else out there with me this week to get past a milestone of their own???

SUPER FREAKED OUT!!!!!!!!!

So I was so pumped to lose these three pounds in the next six days , and then today I went to see a doctor about a very minor thing that I wanted to get checked out , and left the office with a bottle of anibiotics and orders not to run for a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Running/joggin is the main portion of my workouts, and now I have six days to lose 4 (to get to 199lbs) -- maybe five after all the fruits I ate today -- pounds to lose without being able to run!!!!!

I really don't want this unexpected issue to slow me down! I've been doing so well and getting to 199lbs is a small part of a larger mini-goal to get out of the "obese" category (184 lbs) by the end of August. HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS????????

1yr2mkovr your health is what is most important. But I know all to well about wanting to reach your goals. If you aren't able to make your goal by the desired date just keep at it. The date isn't as important as not giving up. Your dr say no running did that exclude walking as well?

You are on for the race (In the most friendly well wishing way possible!!!) I am so excited that you are sooo close!!!! If the finger crossing helped then;
Almost there!!!!

(Make sure to post your results here! I'll keep an out out for them! And then we will celebrate our success!!!)

And to everyone else, thanks for your support! Yes, he said walking is fine so I went for a brisk walk for an hour and a half yesterday... I hope it will be enough!!!

Of course I won't give up if I don't make it to my goal at the end of the month. It would just be a major bummer after having been on such an amazing streak...

I have three days until weigh in (four if I decide to give myself a "cheat" of an extra day since it's the end of the month)... I'll definitely let you all know how it goes.

Thank you all again!!

Default I did it!!!!!

Weigh in today -- 199!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was told I couldn't run OR do most of the dvd's that I do for a week by the docor, I FREAKED!!!! I thought, but this is my most important week ever!!! And so that day I emotionally over ate (but I did it with friut , so I guess not so bad ). But the next day I thought, ok, you can either screw this up totally, OR you could do something about it.

I chose to do something about it... Weight loss has two components after all, diet AND excercise . I figured if my excercise will be limited to walking , then I'll walk double the time a I did before (1.5h) and focus on the diet instead. So I got really strict and didn't cheat AT ALL! And VOALA!!!!!

HELLO ONEDERLAND!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, this is the first major goal I reached with the support all of your support on this website and I am absolutely greatful!!!

Those who are also reaching for this goal, please post your results here! I would love to celebrate with you!!!!

Default Made it to 199 for the last time!

My first goal was to break the 200 barrier and I made that today 199.6 -- the decimals DO make a difference sometimes. I know by mid-afternoon, and with clothes on etc. it'll go back up, but I'm not looking! As far as I'm concerned, I am out of the 200s forever!
