favorite breakfast phase 1
I'm on day 4 and wondering what everyone's favorite breakfast is and why.
Mine is ff plain Greek yogurt with chunky peanut butter and spicy V8 juice. WHY...it's fast, the fat in the peanut butter keeps me full and I like the taste. Greek yogurt seems to be thicker and less tangy. The chunky pb gives it some texture and chewiness. The juice gives me my spicy fix and my veggies.

WOW I never would have thought to add V8 to Greek yogurt. I really enjoy a Greek yogurt parfait, quick and easy! Strawberries, flax seed and sometimes a peach mixed with the yogurt. Or a peanut butter smoothie. Not a big egg eater, but I do enjoy egg whites with turkey, red peppers, cheese and asparagus. All of these keep me full through the morning. I don't even really miss my morning cereal anymore

NO I don't add the V8 to the yogurt. I drink it with my breakfast. Sorry if that was confusing. Although V8 and yogurt might make a good dressing for cold chicken salad.

When I'm sick of eggs I cook some turkey bacon in the microwave, cut it in half, put it on a slice of tomato, top it off with LF shredded cheese and broil it. Its a quick warm breakfast for my work days.

My favorite breakfast is an omelet with broccoli, green peppers and mushrooms. I add a slice of tomato on it and if I'm still hungry I have a yogurt. I just love omelets!! I never tried Greek yogurt, I will buy some this weekend

Onion, spinach, garlic and feta omelette...mmmmmm.
I put in mushrooms too, just for added benefits, but they're honestly better without!
