Default Day 1 Challenges

So...today's day 1 of Induction and it's been interesting.

Building BBQ today so everyone around me has been eating burgers, potato salad, chips and ice cream.

As much as I want to dig in, I havent because I know it's only head-cravings and not real hunger. I just had my BBQ burger from home and it was DEELISH! I love my new charcoal grill!

Way to go, resistance is so hard but rewarding!
That "potato" salad looks yummy, not sure why I have never looked at that recipe before
I found a yummy chicken scampi recipe on low carb friends so I am making that for dinner

Hang in there...it does get easier. I am on Day 9!
What really helped me the first few days is actually eating a lot of Induction food...when hunger and cravings start, I have some cheese or red peppers with sour cream.
Come here often for support. This forum has been awesome to me!
Good luck!

I love german 'potato' salad. That sounds delicious. I'm on day 5 of Pre-Atkins (haha - my term for keeping the carbs under 40g and working in to it) work --- I will see if I lost any weight on Wednesday. Thats awesome you've already lost 7 pounds Summer!
