Last October I started the Ideal Protein Diet... for various reasons after about 6 weeks I had to go off plan. I am now able to go back on plan. I have some expired packets from when I started... does anyone know if they'll be safe to use? Has anyone used/eaten expired packets?

I see no reason why you cant still use them. They are in a sealed package and are preserved because of it.
The actual protein will last much longer than the additives/flavoring/coloring. You might notice a small taste difference if the additives have started to 'wear out' but 100% safe for human consumption.

Great to have my answer before I even asked my question! Smile. I was about to throw out some 15 packets. Already tossed 5. I'll feel safe now trying one. If it will still provide all the health benefits then I am HAPPY!

Thanks for your input Bella... Coming from a chemist (so is my son- smile) I consider that reliable encouragement. That will certainly save me some $$$.
