Default Costco Turkey Meatballs - are these OK?

Are frozen Fosters Farm Turkey Meatballs from Costco OK for phase 1? I found what I think is the nutrition info for the meatballs here
http://www.fosterfarms.com/products/...ductcode=90982
but I'm not sure what the IP fat/carb/calories criteria is per serving, or what to search for to find that out.

I would say no. There are 3 carbs in those meatballs and a bunch of fat!

I would say make your own. There is a recipe in that thread below for meatballs.

You need to check the ingredients as well when you are looking for IP friendly items. I'm sure there is more than ground turkey and spices in those meatballs.

Well, I made turkey meatballs for the hubs last night and did not partake as the recipe called for breadcrumbs and oil panfrying. It's a hard call to make without knowing the serving size or ingredients, but the fat content seems pretty high for IP imvho.

You could make your own baked ones with lean ground turkey, an egg white, and italian spices. I promised hubs I wouldn't 'do anything funny' to them as he's been craving the old recipe and he rarely asks for any special requests, otherwise I would have IPd them up myself.
