Default water weight?

Girls,

I have an issue here lol..i had no idea what to make the title but, since I started working out I finally got my period back. Not a big deal but, I am finding it super hard to work out on my monthly and I have gained 2 pounds. I tried to fight my way through working out but, when it came to any activity with the stomach I had to give up lol While to the normal person 2 pounds is not noticible... to me 2 pounds is a lot because well I busted my booty working out to lose those 2 pounds lol

You know I dont mind having cravings, cramps, headaches etc but, can a girl at least stay the same weight. I feel like my hips are about a 2 mile stretch lol I am hoping it is just water weight or something.

Has your eating been any different since you started exercising? Are you lifting heavy?

I started my weight loss journey beginning of May. I had my time of the month and, boy, was I frustrated. I gained 8 lbs, but continued to eat healthy, count calories, and work out. Two days after my time of the month ended I stepped on the scale again and a wash of relief flooded me as I realized I lost the 8 lbs PLUS an additional 4 lbs!

Just hang in there. From the articles I read, we gain weight from water retention during our TOTM's. Don't be discouraged and definitely stay away from the scale during this time!

It's not fat. Disregard it. A lot of women retain water during their periods.
