Default Fatigue

Ihave been on SB for one week now, and I find myself sooooo tired and achy, plus headachy. Could this have something to do with what I'm eating/or not eating?

First of all back. I see you have been away for a while.

Have you read the South Beach book? The Super-Charged version has a new food list which is posted in the FAQ above. You may not be eating enough and are suffering from carb or caffeine withdrawal.

Please post a typical day's menu so we can check it out. You may be missing some dairy or good carbs.

Absolutely! Try googling south beach flu and you'll find lots about it. I thought beans helped. You should get over it soon

I have heard about withdrawal from sugar and things like that. I looked into the maker's diet a while back, it is similar in many aspects to the phase 1 of sbd and he mentioned that the first week or so you may feel drained and have headaches, assumingly because your blood sugar is righting itself.
