Ok, asked this question someplace else, but no answer.
Do you all do DVD (like Jillian Michaels) plus walking the same day? or say dvd 3 days, walking 3 days?
I think I was doing too much and burned out, had a break now trying to get back into things. Recently we have had lots of rainy weather, so walking isn't an option.
I am curious as to what others do. Is dvd just enough you think?
Just dvds is fine, but you may find it easier to do different things, so you don't get tired of doing the same thing every day. There are 'walking' dvd's, check out collage exercise videos.
The best exercise program is one you're going to keep doing. And remember that, as you continue to exercise, you may decide to try different types of exercise, so just do what works best for you now.
I'd say do something different every day. 3 times a week doing the dvd and 3 times a week walking sounds great to me! I try to cycle every second day (weather permitting) and do exercises inside on the others. I'm trying to build up my fitness and I know if I do too much too soon I'll wear myself out and just stop.
Also have something else in mind if the weather's bad and you can't go walking..something light, sometimes I just dance around
