Question Newbie sbd technical question...again!

Okay, ...I decided to do fit days journal nutrition thingy...and after I put in all the food I ate yesterday...I got a great analysis ...but I cannot read it. Is there a place where I can get information for the South Beach Diet that will tell me if this is right???

Calories Eaten Today Total: 881

source grams cals % total

Fat: 49 444 52%
Sat: 14 123 15%
Poly: 8 73 9%
Mono: 16 141 17%
Carbs: 30 76 9%
Fiber: 10 0 0%
Protein: 82 329 39%
Alcohol: 0 0 0%

Sorry for being so technical...I just want to make sure I am doing this right!!!

Kimberly, I don't know of anyplace that breaks out the SBD in that format. Maybe someone who uses Fitday can tell you?

I have avoided tracking every bite I put in my mouth because that was what I got so bored with before! I didn't want to measure or chart anything this time!

If you are making good food choices, paying attention to the list of "foods to enjoy", and are eating normal portions you should be just fine! This WOE is designed for life....and who wants to chart their food intake for life?

Some folks do use Fitday or other, similar programs, so they may have a better answer for you!

We journal every day at fit day and all that I can see is that you didn't take in enough calories. The book doesn't give us minimum or max carbs but my DH and I like to keep track. We are trying to also keep calories between 12 and 1500 and frequently find that we are under 1000, especially on a busy day. I know that this isn't very good so we will have an extra piece of cheese or some nuts. I find that journalling makes me more accountable for what I eat juat like coming here every day does. You have to do what is comfortable for you. Julie

Thanks guys!!!

No worries on the calories though. I forgot to add the cheese stick I had and had a few adjustments. I actually ended the day with 980 yesterday, and 1104 today!!

thanks for the advice!!!
