Default natural pb vs brand name

what is the big difference? Is it just as good if I have the reduced fat PB or are there other ingredients in it that we should avoid?

it's all about the ingredients. You want PB that is just peanuts and salt, no added sugar or fats. reduced fat will have stuff in you don't want

ETA - "natural" is pretty useless. sugar and palm oil are "natural"

i luuuuuuvvvvnatural peanut butter. It is so yummy! Just peanuts and salt. It doesn't get much better than that. I won't eat any other kind now. The solidified kind just seems wrong now.

Lots of the reduced fat or lower-cal versions add sugar, of all things! The fat in PB is actually the healthy kind. Great question! Read the ingredients, it is easy to find all kinds of nut butters that don't add things you don't want. Personally, I don't eat them anymore; I was going a bit crazy overboard with them and they are very calorie dense if you have no self-control like me

you can buy smuckers peanut butter (just peanuts and salt I believe) - others too just contain peanuts and salt! Just read the labels.
