Good Morning everyone.

I hope the weekend was good for everyone. Ours was a lot of fun, but we were on the move from 5PM on Friday until 9PM last night. That was really something. And, I have no desire to pack that much into a weekend again Obviously it messed up my sleeping, since it's 4:30 in the morning!

My eating was a bit chaotic but I did a pretty good job about not overdoing it. But, I really enjoyed the dessert tray last night! Back on track today. And, thank goodness it's a slow day today. I have an appointment with the trainer today and a meeting tonight.

There were storms predicted for here last night, but if they were here, I didn't hear them. I see they might be hitting Chicago right now. Vickie, are you awake?

I'm going to do some internet research right now. The ants are taking over my front yard, and I think I'm just going to kill them

Good Morning Chicks!

Rhonda, I was asleep at 4:44, but I was awake from about 11:30 through 3:00. We had horrific storms here, the worst and the longest lasting that I can remember in a really long time. They were very slow moving with TONS of thunder. Brodie did well and we all stayed in our respective beds, but there wasn't much sleep happening. I haven't heard about any bad results yet. I just got up and am having my morning coffee.

Jim and I had a million errands planned for today but we may have to divide and conquer until we hear from the home renovations people about our tub. They never called back as promised Saturday afternoon and they weren't open yesterday. We've left a message and wrote an email.

I've got hair and PT today plus we need to get our application in for our permit for the driveway. In between, tons of errands. At least I should be too busy to eat!

Rhonda, we use Terminix for ants. We used nothing when we first moved in and then the third year we were infested with flying aunts....NOT good! Terminix sprays and puts traps down every 3 months and we've seen nary an ant since then. I hate the poison but hate the ants worse. Hope you find a resolution.

Waving at the rest of you....Sandra, Pam, Nancy, Mary Ann...hoping you all have easy on program weeks.

Hi Ladies

Went out to the bank and now I'm looking for whiskey barrels for my tomato plants. The ones I had for 15 years, are now breaking and I can't use them for my plants.

Had a great time with my choir friends yesterday at Eli's.Going to take a walk this afternoon around my neighborhood as for the rest of the week a they predicting rain.

Have to start my check list for my trip,of things I'm going to wear along with cameras & other essentials.

RHONDA-Thanks for the new pages, speaking about packing I have to make a check list of the things I will bring on my trip. Some how we all over pack. In my case have no idea what kind of temps & weather they are having over in the Medgujorji area. So I have to pack both[long sleeve and short sleeve] just bring pants or jeans.

VICKIE-Hope that they will honor your warantee on your bath tub. Wonderful what happen to make it crack???

Have to start dinner, and than go out again to see if I can find a whiskey barrel for my new tomato plants.

Checking in quickly..

Time for a new list for the next few weeks..I tried to set Yard,House,Errand,PaperWork Time but I do better just
going with my mood. If I have a master list I just pick what I am in the mood to work on..Hoping to get more house stuff done this month and work in a month or so.

Also decided I need a "personal" list, since lists work for me ..Stuff like exercise, biking, fun stuff

Rhonda, thank you for the new pages. You did have a full weekend. We did, too. You're right. I need to relax more about having company. Curtis tells me I worry too much. (So did you.) You're right. I need to just go with the flow.
I was talking with my good friend this afternoon. She told me she's a lot like I am. She went to a women's retreat this last weekend because her husband talked her into it. Okay. I will work on myself.

Nancy, a personal check list would be good. I like that idea.

Maryann, good luck with your packing.

Good Morning Chicks!

We all need to work on being more relaxed and better to ourselves....especially since we create stress and then eat it! NOT good.

I was busy but productive yesterday and ate Chipotle bowl yesterday. Not to bad, except for those darned chips. Got all my errands done and today will be spent waiting for the stupid bathroom people to come repair my tub plumbing.

Light and love to you all!

Good Morning ladies

Looks like It going to sprinkle on and off today and for the rest of the week so I guess I will have to exercise indoors. I waiting for the cesspool man to empty our septic tank. Its two years since we put a new one in and according to the company we need to check it out every two years.

NANCY-I'm into lists also,I have a desk calendar on my kitchen table where Leo used to sit and there is where I have all sorts of list, bills that I have to pay and my ledger book. I have told several woman to used this system,as it easy to see what has to be done, and easy to check off.

SANDRA-Thanks I will have to start washing my clothes and than decide of what i will take along and put it down on my check list. One of my friends say that she not bring her cell phone just her camera so I will be doing the same. The reason overseas you have to worry about different current adapters.

VICKIE-TG is the plumbing and not a crack in the tub, like i first thought it was. I agree we all need to relax as stress does lead to unwanted eating.

Have a great day

Vickie, did the repair men come and fix the leak? Your chipotle bowl sounds good to me. Curtis and I ate at Subway today after WI.

Maryann, how long will you be away? Will you be traveling a lot or be stationary once you get there?

I lost 2.8 lbs at WI. That means I am a little more than I had gained the last 2 weeks. I'm a happy camper.

Sandra, congrats! And, yes, just go with the flow and have fun.

Nancy, I have to do work as the mood strikes me too. I think general lists are a good idea, and I should make them

I haven't been doing the elliptical lately because I was worried about hurting my legs before tap performances. But, this week, back at it.

I'm quite tired--not sleeping well the last two nights. Maybe I'll get better rest tonight.

I'm back home.

Sandra, congrats on dropping those excess pounds.

Rhonda, hope you get some rest tonight. I'll be happy to be in my own bed tonight.

Maryann, you going on a trip?

I'm tired, see you tomorrow.

I went to sleep around 11:30 and woke up at 4:30 again.

I'm glad to have a very quiet day ahead of me. I'll go to the gym and maybe work in the yard a bit. But, I read that there are more venomous snakes around this year because of our weather. I better get some gardening boots; I've got good gloves. Watch out Sandra!

We ate Mexican food last night at one of our favorite places and today I've got to be moderate!

Good Morning Chicks!

SANDRA.....GREAT job and HUGE congratulations!!!!

Rhonda, be careful. We just have garden snakes here and they scare me! Are you worried about something? I have to work really hard not to think about anything if I get up to use the washroom in the middle of the night or else I'm wide awake. I'd recommend some warm vanilla milk before bed tonight. Remember I used to warm about 8 ozs of skim in the microwave and then add about an 1/8 of a teaspoon of vanilla with a bit of splenda, I'd drink it before bed and it was a yummy way to get milks in without hardly any calories. PLUS, it helped me sleep.

Pam...hope you enjoyed your own bed. How are you?

Nancy.....what's up GF?!

Mary Ann, are you going on another trip? I must have missed something.

Mother's Day is Sunday so I'm guessing your all be celebrating with your families? I'm fairly certain that Brodie has nothing planned for me.

Theoretically, our leak is fixed. The connections to the p trap and to the overflow were loose. They claim that hot water can make the connections get loose but in 56 years, I have never heard this. I'm going to ask my regular plumber when I see him next. Which will be soon. Did I ever tell you all how I messed up my kitchen faucet? Sigh.....and no one to blame but me.

Today is a regular eye Doctor appointment for Jim. He goes to see the specialist once a year because he has diabetes. This, of course, is in addition to the regular eye doctor. I have to drive him since he'll be dilated.

Have a great day.

Rhonda, we've already had 2 snakes. Thank you for the head's up. We had one day before yesterday that got away. That's scarey. We have a guy coming Monday to weed the long bed out back. We're still leaving the square bed for the rabbits. Speaking of which, we saw a smaller one this morning. Guess there's a new batch, bunch, litter, whatever it's called.

That's good advice about the milk. A lady from church said her father eats a banana and drinks a glass of milk shortly before bedtime and he sleeps like a log.

Vickie, I never heard of that before either. Interesting. I hope Jim gets a good report today.

We're off to Ladies' Bible Class in a few minutes. Well, I am. Curtis will be meeting a friend at the local archery shop. And speaking of that--the local is building a huge new facility that will have a nice indoor shooting range. We're excited about that. That will help get us away from home more. We'll do a lot of our training there with other folks. Life is good!

Have a Wickedly Wonderful Wednesday!
