Default Belly Fat & Running

I recently began the C25K program and I was wondering will running melt my belly fat? I have 20 more lbs to lose and half of that is my belly. I know I won't get a 6 pack from running (wish I could) but it would be motivation knowing that I can lose some of this belly fat if I keep running.

Any input?

You will lose fat all around, but, unfortunately, you can't spot reduce and if belly fat is where you carry your fat it will be the last and hardest place to make fat disappear... But your belly will definitely go down with a good cardio program like c25k... You should also weight train to build muscle that will also help burn fat

Thank you for this information. I understand exactly what you are saying. I guess I'm off to finding a great weight training program.
