Default Charm Bracelet Concept

Has anyone considered doing a charm bracelet for x-amount lost? I was just thinking about it and thought it'd be kind of cool.

I was thinking something like the above image (I have 60ish lbs to lose) for each 5 lbs lost, and actually put it into a nice charm bracelet as a reminder of what I did to earn each piece. Or something like
for bigger loss amounts (if I don't want to end up with a bracelet covered in 5's...

Or maybe like, two individual numbers, a 6 and a 0 or something...Just curious if anyone else ever tried anything like that? Or is it totally nerdy of me and something most people wouldn't do?

What a cute idea! When I meet my goal, I'm planning to get large a tattoo with all kinds symbols of strength, like waves, koi fish, and 141 flowers (or maybe only 14 for every 10 lbs). The tattoo itself is gonna be pretty big, but I've always been into that kinda thing.

I have one. I buy a new charm for every 5 pounds I lose. I buy a charm that means something to me. I think I bought the journey charm for the first 5 pounds. I don't have any with specific number on it. But every charm reminds me of what I was feeling when I reached a certain weight.

I like that idea. A great way to reward myself for my losses. I think it would also serve as a great visual reminder (assuming it's worn consistently) not to backslide.

Wow, what a great idea! I bought a jade butterfly necklace that, to me, symbolized my new beginning.

I bought myself a pink leather Pandora bracelet and a pink heart bead when I lost 10 pounds. I haven't thought about adding more to it but this is a great idea.

What an awesome idea!! Last time I lost weight (I have been yo-yo dieting my entire adult life..but hopefully this is my LAST diet!) I bought myself a season of my favorite TV show for every 5 or 10 pounds I lost. I now own every season of grey's anatomy haha which I love, but a charm bracelet on your wrist as a reminder at all times would be wonderful!

Haha, I'm planning on almost the same thing- symbols of strength tattoo and flowers/plants but I hadn't thought on using something to symbolize the amount of my weight loss like your 141 or 14 flowers. Sounds like an awesome idea!

(Not on IP), but I have a donut-style bead bracelet (like Pandora, but waaay cheaper).

I now buy the beads at Michael's or JoAnn Fabrics, because they're very inexpensive. However, I have bought beads in little gift shops, thrift stores, and on etsy.

I don't have numbers on any of then, but maybe at the end of it all, I'll make or commission a custom bead with the total number engraved on the bead.

I've filled one bracelet (20 beads - so 100 lbs represented) and have started on a second. It's kind of weird to think I'll have three bracelets when I reach goal weight. I wear my bracelet when I go out to eat, to remind myself to be conscious of what I'm eating.

I have a very impressive (haha) looking Pandora bracelet... one bead for every 5 lbs. I say impressive because I've lost enough that, let's say, it's heavy! It's really motivating to me. I love the ritual of getting new beads every 10 lbs and I wear it to remind myself where I've been and where I'm going.

I love this idea! Have to admit I thought a bit about marking the losses early on, but then forgot about it.

I would like to create bracelets for my friends here. There are three of us on IP i in my little town. No local office so long distance to clinic. But, still we have had success. It is so nice to have local friends doing this too. I can't afford Pandora all around, but the less expensive type I could.

I am trying to think of a way we could have a little ritual with our bead earning too! Wish I was more creative. Love the power of ritual in the human psyche.
