In my experience, I have still lost when I could not get them all in, but it works better overall when I do get them eaten. Sometimes, I admit they seem like a lot to eat! Still I get those veggies out for consumption. I have spread them out over the day as snacks when I felt I couldn't eat them "in bulk" at a sitting with meals.
quick question, are the 4 cups of the veggies raw or cooked? like, broccoli cooks down a little smaller, so do i measure before i cook it, or after? thanks
1 c at breakfast, 1 c at lunch, 1 c at dinner and another cup at eve snack time. This is the only way I can get them down. And you do feel fuller if you do get your veggies down.

If I know I'm going to have a particularly busy day on the road, etc, I stuff 2 cups down with breakfast - nothing goes better with a Pina Colada smoothie than Garlic Roasted Cauliflower, right? My husband thinks I'm a little crazy, but I just am willing to do whatever it takes!
