Default Headaches

Greetings! It is day two of IP for me. So far, so good. However, last night I had a horrible headache and took two Excedrin. Is that allowed? I read where I could mix sea salt and water for headaches, but no where did it say I could/could not take Excedrin.

Thanks all! I will be here quite often for advice and inspiration!

Yep it's allowed. Personally I always first tried putting some salt in my hand, licking it off and following with a full glass of water, and if that didn't work I would take Advil (only necessary if it was a full blown sinus headache, not an IP one). I found that for me the salt works faster and better than Advil, and your giving your body what it needs. Make sure you're getting all your salt in.

Thank you. Yes, I was a total "NO SALT - NO WAY" kinda girl, but I am learning to use that shaker of sea salt. Good idea about licking it from your hand! Will go down much easier for me.

Needed this but I think my headache is caffeine withdrawal.

I take excedrin when I have a headache. My nurse didn't have a problem with that. FYI, I have a nurse practitioner instead of a coach. She is wonderful, but I told her just today that I had to take excedrin for my headache, and she didn't say anything against it. Good Luck, and definitely be aware of the salt. I too stopped drinking caffeine when I started. Hang in there....it will pass soon. I drank a lot of water, over a gallon, and it seemed to help.
