Default carb zero

Hi,
Has anyone tried Carb Zero Bread from Jullian Bakery? Just read about it on their website. Would love to use it with WF strawberry jam or the apple butter.
Their website says it has 0 net carbs and also says you can eat it on phase one and stay in ketosis. If anyone on program has tried it would like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks

I started Phase 4 and ordered their stuff, and really like it. It's the kind of bread you know you are eating - no Wonder bread fluff here. There is so much fiber in them that the carb count is quite low.

But I don't think any kind of bread is part of IP for Phase 1 - I'd just say no for now. It isn't worth it. Try experimenting with the 'breads' you can make with the packet recipes. They take some getting used to, but you may find yourself enjoying them, and you can do it without worrying that you are screwing up the diet.

Bread! So glad you guys posted about this. Someday, I will get to give it a try. SOunds like a good product.

Still in Phase 1 here though, so it is not allowed for me. Maybe the product website is referring to Adkins Phase 1 or other plan.

I too wonder if we can use something that is zero "net" carbs as opposed to just zero carbs.

Well, the IP protocol allows for anything 'extra' that is 0/0/0 which is 0 calories / 0 carbs / 0 fat - this product does contain some fat and it is not 0 calories, so it wouldn't be 100% OP. But that being said, you should talk to your coach about it.

Thanks for the tip on the IP bread recipes. Will look into trying that.

Just got the Julian email announcing that Carb Zero bread...will have to try it. It seems odd ordering bread by mail, but if I can only have 1 slice at a time, I freeze it and it lasts a long time. So far, I love everything I've tried from them.

I ordered some myself. I'm still on phase 1 but I like to have an IP chocolate chip cookie once or twice a week. Lots of carbs in those, so I figure I would rather have a couple of slices of the carb zero instead. I know its about the type of carbs and fiber but I think this bread is along the same guidelines.
